Audrey Perry

To the students, I am "Miss Audrey.” I started my career as a teacher in 2009 upon receiving my B.S. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Lyndon State College, where I focused primarily on Early Childhood Education. I shifted my teaching focus to Elementary Education when beginning at Thetford Elementary School in 2022, and I absolutely love working with older students!
I moved to Thetford when I was a teenager and graduated from Thetford Academy. I love this community and I am so grateful to have found it. I currently live in Thetford Center with my partner and two children. You can always count on seeing me throughout the summer enjoying Lake Fairlee while swimming at Treasure Island with my family. Water is our happy place, and we love to splash, swim, and kayak.
In the classroom, I am passionate about teaching the whole child and value individuality. Every student has unique learning styles and abilities. I make it my mission each year to get to know every student and support their social and emotional needs so that we can learn. I am a strong advocate for every child in my classroom and believe firmly in positive communication with families. Our classroom is always lively, diverse, and accepting!
