Bette Nunez

About the Teacher

My name is Bette Nunez. I go by “Ms. Bette” at school. I graduated from Springfield College in 1982 with a BA in Elementary Education and Psychology, and a minor in Special Education. I have 38 years of teaching experience, with 33 years as a Kindergarten Teacher at Thetford Elementary School.

 I live in Piermont, New Hampshire with my husband Tad and our Maine Coon Cat, Leo. We enjoy hiking, cross country skiing, kayaking, ice skating, tennis and game nights with treasured family and friends. We also enjoy motorcycling in New England and Canada during our vacation times, and visiting with our grandchildren.

Thetford Elementary School is family to me as well. I have made lasting friendships with colleagues as well as community members over my 33 years as a teaching professional.
