Sophia Walker

After graduating from Dartmouth College, I began my career in the Upper Valley in social services and community engagement. That community-centered work continues to shape my teaching philosophy and my commitment to creating a classroom where every student feels seen, supported, and capable. Before coming to Thetford, I supported elementary learners at the Waits River Valley School with math intervention.

I live in Meriden, NH with my husband and our two unruly cats. When I am not at school, you can often find me exploring the Upper Valley’s many libraries, bookstores, and thrift shops. I am thrilled to be joining TES and to work within such a strong network of support for Thetford scholars.
