Healthy kids learn better! The Health Office supports wellness, prevention of illness, and the management of chronic health conditions in the Thetford Elementary School community. In addition, the Health Office tracks immunization compliance, stays abreast of illness and disease trends in the school and community, and provides health screenings. We use "Standards of Practice: School Health Services Manual" from the Vermont Department of Health and the Agency of Education for guidance. We also work closely with the Vermont State School Nurses' Association, and the National Association of School Nurses to use best practices at Thetford Elementary School.
